Dawn

Stallergenes Greer Ambassadors are real people working with dedication and courage to build a world without allergy. This is Dawn's story:

Dawn, our R&D Laboratory Supervisor, has always been passionate about solving difficult puzzles. Wanting to make broken things work again.

Today Dawn loves that all her work is focused on having a positive impact on allergy sufferers. That passion is what makes a Stallergenes Greer Ambassador.

Dawn loves the constant variety of her job. Testing and analysis are at the heart of her work as an R&D Laboratory Supervisor. There’s a broad selection of allergen extracts to test, such as foods, pollen and insects, and Dawn says one of the things she loves about her job is its constant variety. The qualitative and quantitative data the team collects is invaluable for the company itself and external allergists. “The extracts we work with are injected into patients,” she explains. “That way the body gets stronger and produces antibodies to manage allergy.”

Dawn has been with Greer since she graduated college with a degree in biology. Her passion for understanding how things work and her close attention to detail were clear from an early age together with her strength in math and science.

I’m very proud of being part of this R&D group,” she says. “We’re a small team but we’ve been together for a long time and we have great leadership. We’re a really good fit. And our work has been published many times.”

The importance of the team’s work in helping people to overcome their allergy is clear to Dawn. “The studies we do here in the lab are completely aligned with the needs of people with allergies, directed to help people who are suffering.”
