Stallergenes Greer Ambassadors are real people working with dedication and courage to build a world without allergy. This is Kate's story:

Kate, our Quality Control Director, has always been passionate about discovering new treatments where there is an unmet medical need for the apparently incurable. Looking for more for friends and family.

Today Kate is creating the data to help develop medicines that relieve the burden of allergy. It’s that passion that makes a Stallergenes Greer Ambassador.

Kate manages a team of lab technicians, all focused on verifying that products are compliant with expectations. That the product is stable over time, the same from one batch to another, and the right dose for the right patient. At the same time they’re vigilant to ensure the production process is optimized for consistency.

As a child Kate suffered from allergies and knew how constraining they and their treatment could be. As she grew she began to wonder how immunology might bring insights to treatments.

Studies in biology brought Kate to Stallergenes Greer and she’s been here for over twenty years, building a background of experience across development and manufacturing. “I love being able to put into practise the knowledge I’ve gained along the way, understanding all the steps to manufacturing our products,” she says.

Kate recognizes what freedom from allergy can mean. “Most people think their environment is hostile when it’s really the allergen that’s the problem. Freedom from allergies means overcoming that burden to have a normal life and do the activities we want.”
