The Field Medical Advisor (FMA) is not only the therapeutic and disease expert who develops and cultivates professional relationships with HCPs in Germany, but also provides essential insights on local medical practices and unmet patient needs.
The FMA plays a crucial role in developing effective referral structures in line with medical guidelines, while considering regional differences (e.g., university hospitals vs. rural healthcare settings).
This role includes proactive participation in cross-functional strategic meetings and trainings, with the goal of improving patient access to care and supporting the evolution of medical guidelines to better meet patient needs.
The FMA provides accurate scientific information about Stallergenes Greer products and clinical science in a balanced and credible manner, while also recommending medical strategies to optimize market access based on clinical data and real-world evidence.
Your main missions will be :
- Deliver scientific and medical information to healthcare providers (HCPs) through educational presentations, discussions, and publications.
- Build and maintain relationships with regional and national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, and professional organizations to enhance standards of care in Allergen Immunotherapy (AIT).
- Identify local educational gaps and propose tailored medical education events to improve patient care and HCP knowledge.
- Participate in medical congresses, advisory boards, hospital preceptorships, and scientific meetings to exchange scientific knowledge and represent the company.
- Support the definition and execution of local medical plans, aligning with global strategies and identifying gaps in treatment paradigms to optimize patient access.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor engagement, educational impact, and project progress, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Contribute to the coordination of clinical studies in Germany, ensuring participation in study development and medical communications.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, ethics, and regulations, notifying adverse events and managing project budgets and timelines effectively.
Requirements
- Medical degree or MSc, PhD degree in health science
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience in a similar position preferred
- Enthusiastic and focused
- Patient-centric
- Ideally experience with the area and/or target audience (Allergology KOLs, German AIT market)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage F2F and virtual presentations
- Team player and strong training skills, able to train Sales Force and Marketing team members
- Ease with IT tools, in particular Office pack
- Self-driven, proactive, solution oriented
- Structured and analytical approach
- Driver’s license B
- Willingness to Travel (>60%)
- Professional working proficiency in German and English
