Vet Lab Technician

Computer Skill(s)

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Additional Skill(s)

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is required to understand and comply with universal precautions for general laboratory safety, and to handle and use hazardous chemicals and biological materials in a responsible manner.

Education Requirements

This position requires the following minimum education:

• High School Diploma or GED; Prefer AA Degree or greater with emphasis in life sciences and/or chemistry.

Work Experience Requirements

• Minimal one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
