Calibration Technician

Job brief

This position requires the following requirements for employment at Stallergenes Greer and includes but not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Compliance with applicable standard operating procedures
  • Provide support for the overall daily calibration activities of instrumentation such as pressure, mass and temperature.
  • Interacts with Engineering and Manufacturing pertaining to calibration activities including scheduling, execution and assistance in end user training
  • Assists in the collection of information to prepare annual revalidation assessments
  • Organize and maintain calibration documentation to include filing, archiving, and database entries
  • A general understanding of basic electronics.
  • Manufacturing experience is required
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation (mechanical and electro-mechanical) 
  • Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude

Requirements

This position requires the following minimum education:

Associates in a scientific, engineering or manufacturing field is preferred. However, high school diploma with additional working experience is acceptable.

  • The position requires the ability to climb a ladder and to climb on, around or under process equipment as needed
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Stand for long period of time on occasion.

Computer Skill(s)

  • Minimum of basic computer navigation including some Microsoft Office Suite and Internet navigation
