This position will require the employee to fulfill the following general requirements for employment at Greer Labs and includes but limited to:

  • Protect and preserve Greer physical property and equipment
  • Protect and preserve Greer intellectual property and confidential information

Requirements

Specific Job Requirements

This position requires the following requirements for employment at Greer and includes but not limited to:

  • Writing and maintaining internal specifications for purchased materials, striving for continuous improvement of the specification system.
  • Active on Discrepant Material team, assisting with investigating discrepant materials and implementing specification changes if required.
  • Active in Vendor Change Notification team to determine impact of supplier changes to materials and to implement changes as required using the Change Control procedure
  • Active in assisting end users with material selection.
  • Knowledge of using JDE system to obtain information about materials, material usage and inventory
  • Knowledge of Change Control and Document Control procedures
  • Knowledge of Controlled Labeling system. Active in implementing changes to labeling, ensuring that proper approval and documentation is obtained for making the change and assisting the end using department with implementing the change to ensure that obsolete labeling is destroyed.
  • Independent worker/self-motivated
  • Good communication skill verbally and written
  • Knowledge of GMP and requirements of materials used in GMP
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent at time management
  • Good organization skills
