Quality Lab Technician

Job brief

This position will require the employee to fulfill the following general requirements for employment at Stallergenes Greer and includes but not limited to:

Requirements

This position requires the following requirements for employment at Stallergenes Greer and includes but not limited to:

 

Job Task(s)

  • Prepare, clean, and maintain laboratory glassware in the microbiology and chemistry areas.
  • Perform sterility support activities to assure that Sterility technicians are provided all materials necessary to complete testing.
  • Perform sterility test reads at specified intervals and document accordingly.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization of the laboratory and laboratory equipment. Assist with safety shower and eye washer verifications.
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks such as stock and maintain laboratory materials and supplies in a timely manner, solution preparation and others.
  • Assist with inventory of expired reagents.
  • Assist lab personnel with sample identification and labeling.
  • Assist with laboratory equipment verification such as balances, pipettes, etc.
  • Assist with environmental monitoring within the lab and manufacturing areas.
  • Assist with WFI collection and filtration
  • Assist with bioburden testing
  • Assist with Sterility testing
  • Assist with investigations as required
